McAlister is now broken to saddle and working very well for his owner Anne Rigter in South Australia. He is pictured here on his first ride.
Leongatha Dressage Competition
CroftCnoc Argyle and Anna Thirkell and Benacre Gleneagles and Jessica Renden both competed at the Leongatha Dressage Competition Croftcnoc Argyle competed at his 2nd dressage competition and did very weel. 76% in one test placing 3rd and 6th place and 4th in the Jackpot. Jessica Renden rode Benacre Gleneagles in the level three section and placed mid field in both tests.

Danille is working well for new owner Jen Knoetze.
Jen and Danielle have joined the Upper Beaconsfield Riding Club in Victoria and will be having a great time at Club rallies and learning new things.

Royal Melbourne Summer Horse show 2009
The Royal was held from 22nd to 26th January 2009 in hot windy conditions. The Highland classes were held on the Sunday with judge Mr John While from NSW. Results of the Highland classes are as follows:

Barastoc Horse of the Year show 2009
Barastoc has been and gone for another year. In smoky air, hundreds of horses competed for the seasons most prestigious show prizes.
Three Highlands competed in various sections on the Saturday of the show.
Harkaway Lodge Glengarry was 4th in the Best Presented Buckskin Stallion or Colt, 1st in the Led Buckskin Stallion over 13.2hh and Reserve Champion Buckskin Stallion. Glengarry also competed in the Open Mountain & Moorland section. He had a fantastic day under the international judges from UK.
Lizzie Bryant was the judge for the Open M&M section. Glengarry was 1st and Champion Led M&M Stallion and went on to be the Reserve Supreme In hand Mountain & Moorland Exhibit later in the day. It was won by a lovely Welsh section A colt.
Glengarry also placed 2nd in the Home Produced M&M Stallion under UK judge Matthew Lawrence. In the Highland section, Judge Aileen Burns from Qld chose CroftCnoc Carlyle as her Champion with Glengarry in Reserve Champion. Croftcnoc Argyle was the winner of the gelding class.
Back Home
Carnegie Vision has been purchased back from Mr Scott McGregor along with her colt foal at foot by Fyfedene (imp). Alley is also back in foal to Fyfe.
NEW PURCHASE
Kanivadene a Dun gelding by Barrymoor Mecury out of Tathradene (imp) has been purchased as a future riding mount from Mr. Scott McGregor in Victoria.
